One of the advantages of buying a laminate floor is its easy installation. Unlike other products such as porcelain stoneware, the placement of a laminate floor does not require the use of adhesive materials. It also prevents dirt and noise caused by a conventional work. It is fast and comfortable. The price of laying laminate floors is also much lower than placing a porcelain stoneware. However, due to the ease with which laminate floors are installed, many people prefer to take care of this work themselves. Here we are going to leave some installation tips for those who need it.
1. The first thing that is recommended is to leave the material in its original packaging for 48 hours to acclimatize to the temperature of the room where it will later be placed.
2. Ensure that the base is firm and clean and dry.
3. It is important to previously install the subfloor, to be able to be of the same brand as the laminate flooring to have the full manufacturer's warranty.
4. To install our laminate floor we will need the following tools: installation kit, hammer, saw, pencil, metal tape, goggles and gloves)
5. We must check that the plates are in good condition, before and during installation. Also check that the doors can continue to open after laying the subfloor and the plates.
6. Mix the plates well between the boxes to achieve a continuity in the design of our floor so that there are no areas other than others.
7. Correctly measure the length and width of the room to plan an adequate distribution.
8. Place the first iron in a centered area of the room. The following should be placed with respect to the previous one with an inclination of 20º to 30º and move them up and down until the plates automatically fit with one click.
